Maximum Size of Cylinders: Twin 20 liter or Single 20 liter. Maximum Buoyancy: 190 Newtons / 45 Lbs. Improper maintenance, use or misuse of this BC could result in serious injury or death. Improper maintenance, use or misuse of this BC could cause loss of buoyancy control and exposure to other hazards, including uncontrolled descents and uncontrolled rapid ascents, resulting in drowning, decompression sickness, air embolism, stroke, seizure.
BC-117 BCD/BCS not a lifejacket: It does not guarantee a head up position of the wearer at the surface.
Do not use this BC until you have practiced and mastered practical BC skills, including emergency skills in a controlled environment under the supervision of a dive instructor certified by a nationally recognized instructional organization and knowledgeable in the use of a BC. Do not use this BC until you have read. understood and followed all instructions and safety precautions in this owners manual.
EN 1809* *CAUTION: Complete inflation of this BC takes longer than 20 seconds as prescribed by EN 1809. This longer inflation period provides better buoyancy control and prevents rapid uncontrolled ascents. Always partially inflate your BC before entering the water to compensate for any additional weight. Always insure that you are correctly weighted by first practicing in a controlled environment such as a swimming pool.
